Food Innovation Studio (FiS) is pleased to participate in the official launch of the Food Culture Alliance (FCA) Kenya Strategic Framework 2026–2030, marking an important milestone in advancing Kenya’s food culture, heritage, and food systems development.
The Food Culture Alliance brings together a diverse network of organizations committed to promoting healthier, more resilient, and culturally relevant food systems. Through collaboration, research, advocacy, and innovation, the Alliance seeks to strengthen the role of food culture in shaping sustainable development and national wellbeing.
As a member organization, Food Innovation Studio joins fellow partners including GAIN Kenya, National Museums of Kenya, Akili Network, Consumer Grassroots Association, Food and Land Use Coalition, Slow Food Kenya, and Shujaaz Inc. in supporting the implementation of this shared vision.
The Strategic Framework recognizes that food systems extend beyond production and consumption. It highlights the importance of cultural identity, heritage foods, entrepreneurship, education, innovation, and community participation in shaping the future of food in Kenya.
